This shampoo is jam packed with lots of powerful antifungal & cleansing essential oils including Peppermint, Eucalyptus & Rosemary along with skin soothing benefits of Calendula. Add a sprinkle of Piroctone Olamine for some antifungal defence against dandruff and you have your perfect Yeast support shampoo. For instance, this shampoo is perfect for flakey skinned labradors who usually have quite a greasy feel to their coat.

Rosemary has made headlines in recent months for its hair & skin benefits but we’ve actually been using it in our products for almost 3 years now. It adds shine, gloss and also helps stimulate the scalp for healthier skin. Combining this with Peppermint which is cleansing & stimulating along with Lemongrass & Eucalyptus it creates the perfect balance of odour neutralisation and cleansing without being too stripping.

Piroctone Olamine (Yes it does sound like a wizarding spell) is essential for making this shampoo so effective. It's non irritating and also non toxic unlike a lot of synthetic antifungal actives. Its main role in the formulation is to help with the flaking of the skin and lower bacterial build up that may not necessarily be good for the skin whilst keeping good bacteria intact. It can be slightly drying which is why we have a lot of Glycerin in this formula. This is to ensure the skin remains hydrated whilst all the other antifungal ingredients work their magic.
