One Green Step at a time
Here at Peanut & Pickle we try to be as environmentally conscious as possible. We always think what’s the best way to package our products and still be recyclable. This is why we use PCR plastic where ever possible. This stands for post-consumer recycle. This packaging involves the incorporation of materials that you may have already used and discarded in recycling bins, such as paper, plastic, cardboard, and aluminum. Its then turned into PCR Plastic and blown into the shape of our bottles.
We also strive to use biodegradable products which is why you won’t find polerstireine chips in your orders. They are a product called ECO FLO and are made out of cornstarch. You can simply pop them in your sink and watch them dissolve away. They can also be put into compost.
We are currently phasing out plastic tape in replacement for water activated Kraft tape along with purchasing packing materials from Uk Manufactures to lower the transport emissions.
